KWA guns are consistently being used for both skirmishing and military simulation play. These exceptionally designed firearms are imported from Taiwan, where airsoft has long had a fanatical following. The reasons for their continuing popularity in North America and Europe are multiple, not least of which is that they offer a wide range of styles and options that are consistently high quality.

You can purchase airsoft style guns that will fit any budget. If you re a novice who wants to try out airsoft for the first time, you can buy a hand cocked or spring loading gun for a very reasonable price without sacrificing performance. You can appreciate the attention to detail put into the lower end weapons as much as the models costing thousands of dollars. Starter models can be as affordable as sixty five dollars, and one can still get a firearm the looks and feels like the real thing .

The main reason airsoft aficionados love these guns is that these firearms for game play are so close to the realism of actual pistols, rifles and submachine guns. These weapons have full metal bodies, including the slides and barrels, and incredibly rich detailing. They are precision balanced and so close to their real counterparts that dozens of police forces and federal agencies in the United States alone use them for training purposes. If these are good enough for re enactments for our government, you have to figure they re going to give your combat play a pretty realistic feel. Even if you are not interested in these guns for combat play they can still serve an important role in teaching you gun safety due to their realistic weight and shot.

Airsoft guns come in the wide selections of realistic recreations. Airsoft players don t want weapons that look like something out of Star Wars (we ll leave that to the Paintball guys). KWA is about realism so one can find Glocks, Berettas, Colts and SIG Sauers that are almost impossible to distinguish from the real deal. It s amazing how much time and energy must be put in the production of such guns.

In addition to the hand cocked guns, which are generally the lower end models, there are also gas pistols that are by far the most popular models. You can spend a few hundred or a few thousand dollars or more purchasing a gas powered airsoft gun depending on what you are looking for. These are very popular with military simulation players because of their blow back design. They feature a realistic cocking action and barrel movement that gives the user the sensation of a gun s actual kick with each shot. For a shooter who wants the closest possible feel to an actual firearm, a gas powered airsoft gun is a good bet. These guns are charged by a gas container that fits in the magazine. Each shot requires charging with a round of air from the container or cartridge. Most of these are either gas pistols or submachine guns, although other models are also available.

In 2007, KWA guns created Automatic Electric Guns, or AEG s. These guns use small batteries similar to those used in remote controlled cars. They combine the reliability and intense detail of all of their combat simulation firearms with some impressive firepower and somewhat lower operating costs than the gas powered models.

With the increasing interest in various forms of airsoft play and the game s focus on realism, it seems certain that the popularity of KWA guns will continue to grow. They are constantly coming out with new guns with better interactivity and realistic feelings for combat play and military practice.
